Browse> Home/ Motivation/ Sharing Life Stories 1 SHARING LIFE STORIES Is there maybe a story or two from your how you overcame challenging situations, or what you learned, or how God encouraged you and gave you strength to get through whatever "it" might be?I am convinced that the life challenges we go through will not only make us stronger if we let them, but we are to share those stories with others, walk next to them and encourage them to continue to the other side of what ever "it" is. The "other side" is where we look back and see what came from the experience... a stronger faith in God... character, peace and courage. So, we would love to have any of those life journey stories, whether big or little events to share with others! Okay, so, let's share... This is God Speaking…. Don’t you just love it when God things happen? It just thrills me to no end… I want to jump up and down and giggle with delight. Oh, It’s not so much that He’s doing something awesome, because He always is, but truly because He has chosen to share it with me or with you and that I actually caught it!! He wants to delight us. You know how we feel when we get someone a really special gift or plan something that would be just a nice little surprise..I love it when they are delighted. You know that feeling too don’t you? Well, that’s how God feels when He delights us! Here I was just sitting at work when the phone rang. It was a friend from YWAM and we hadn’t talked in over a year. Just earlier this morning I had forwarded her an email and she has been on my mind on and off the last little while. She began to tell me about the journey she was on and it was hard and she lost everything and was without a home, but through it all, God made a shelter for her and provided for her and her children. She began to share the tuggings of her heart with me and we prayed and God filled that space so mightily. As He put the words in my mouth to pray for her, words of resurrection and life, renewal and courage, I saw her rising up out a the ash heap, dusting herself off and moving forward with courage and strength and light and life that radiated only from the presence of God. She then shared that God had been speaking those same words to her!! Wow!! God speaking…. Blessing, encouraging… and to think that we get to be part of it!
